Netherlands-Gelderland 1599 NGC VF30 Lion Daalder $495
A very scarce Lion Daalder from the Gelderland Mint struck in 1599. Lots of detail remaining for the grade, and there is some nice and original orange toning visible in the protected areas, mostly on the side of the medieval knight. The piece lacks the deep cuts and marks often found on these coins, and would make a great representative of this important (colonial) coin.
